Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

Today as I waxed the car, where I actually got down low on my knees, to wax the air dam, I saw something jamm...

Re: Trip to Stave Lake and Harrison Mills.

I'm really looking for to this..for the first time...IN A LONG TIME....I will NOT be the Parade Major.... Yah, my return corridor will be good as I just pop onto those south back roads and just cruise along, I stay off #1's frenetic pace. Will you have many Z's out, I have no sense of other's events...

Re: Trip to Stave Lake and Harrison Mills.

Just a heads up with the Mission bridge re-paving and repair, that weekend it is scheduled for all sorts of single lane closures. It was a nightmare last time they did this for anyone caught in it. Check the Highways site. I will be going back likely over the Agassiz Bridge, more direct for me to hi...

And then there was: DAT SUN

As the story will tell, as I was doing some research in the Richmond Review archives........ I sat there, chilled from the cool air in the room, the micro film slowly rolling by on the screen and feeling like one of those characters in a film, sitting in some obscure corner in a darkened library, lo...

Re: Bike rides

this note will get lost in time but, thought I would mention it. We have a GARMIN ETREX 20 for our backwoods navigation at times. I bought the B.C. Backroads GPS Micro SD card for it. Turns out, it also will slip into my GARMIN NUVI 40 that I use in my 510 as a speedo and road map. This will be very...

Re: Bike rides

Our latest adventure......... HARRISON LAKE To BOSTON BAR Matt and I decided to get out of dodge for a day and finish a trip that we tried to do 2 years ago…cross from Harrison Lake to Boston Bar, stopping at the Nahatlatch Forest Fire Lookout for a late lunch. The term “gravel road” was not suitabl...

Re: Fuel tank/evap setup needed?

I have a 1973, so for sure had the pollution systems on my car, not sure when the trunk evap tank went in. You can see it above my fuel tank, was perfect for dealing a lot of issues.

Re: Fuel tank/evap setup needed?

IF...you still have the evap tank under the rear parcel shelf...I ran a line to that from the fuel tank vent...then from the evap tank out and down through the trunk floor...to exit at the rear of the car underneath. This does two things..get rid of fumes through the air stream AND...if you ever put...

RUN BEYOND HOPE 2019

Well, where would people like to go? We are now into summer holidays, so an early start for part of our journey will be key for getting a clear'ish road. One route could be UP the Hope/Princeton...to Princeton...then over to Merritt...then over to Spences Bridge and back down the Canyon.. We would a...
