Photo Dark Room equipment.
Would any like, or, have kids that are taking photography, like a complete dark room setup? I have trays up to 16" x 20". As I go through my basement, this is taking up some space and I will never use it. I cannot bring myself to just throw it out, but, if no takers it's gone. There are a ton for sa...

Re: Keith Law's complete TALES FROM THE GREAT ROLLING DYNO
WOW...not heard that term for 50 years!!!!
I did not of course have the Blue Flame motor, I had the lowly 136 HP one, the Blue flame I believe was 150 for the Corvette.

Re: Another 72 510
There is a good "ground" up under the rear package shelf, a nice threaded hole. I just ran a tap through there to make sure NO paint and lightly sanded the surface where the ground cable would attach. I have had no issues. I then run a ground from the starter to the idler arm on the passenger side. ...

Re: Keith Law's complete TALES FROM THE GREAT ROLLING DYNO
Been awhile since I added to this thread. Soon I will have my "science fiction" story on here and it DOES involve 510's. These pictures are 510 related and go back to my opening story in this thread..GARAGES. In 1970 I was teaching my future wife how to drive, in my new 1969 Wagon. We were not far f...

Re: Newsletters from the 510 Club of B.C. 1991-2011
That's funny. Going through the Bert Vorgon Archives today... I found a brand new NISSAN wind shell, XL. From back in the 90's when Nissan sponsored me with swag.... 2 brand new white NISSAN MOTORSPORTS T shirts, XL. I also have a few sew on crests, Blue, NISSAN...they are nice So, for 510 Day, try ...

Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!
I had an 82' SR5 too and it was just fine in the steering dept. I had that car slammed, with again the same 510 springs in the front and higher rate in back, with proper travel, wow did that car handle well. that 3TC 1800 motor was really quite awesome, I put 300,000 k on that thing and it never mis...

Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!
I would have given anything for power steering when I was racing! 9.5" x 2" of rubber contact on the road was a major arm work out to say the least, specially coupled with tons of castor. My AE86 was one of the best steering cars I have driven, not over boosted and a good bit of "force feedback" thr...

Funny, one of my lists from 2006...has you at #44, Art at #80, me at #24.
Glad to know there is a complete set for posterity.
I did find the futuristic story that I was able to scan with OCR, so now I just need to tidy it up. It will be interesting to see what people think on this go-round.

Re: New swap-4G63T
If that waste gate turns out to be a pain in the ass, The Turbonetics ones are great..ZERO issues and well designed. That mounting looks "standard". http://www.turboneticsinc.com/performance/products/wastegates/evolution-wastegate You can see the "heat sink" for the valve stem and the diaphragm body...

Re: Newsletters from the 510 Club of B.C. 1991-2011
Speaking of ads, I opened up my "steamer" trunk with my collection of books and comics and magazines. I have quite a stack of LIFE magazines from the 50's and 60's, great car ads in there. I found another two binders of early newsletters so will have to go back through the stacks and see if I can fi...

Re: snow day
I really miss going out in my GTS Corolla. I would put 3 bags of soda ash over that right wheel, full tank of fuel, REAL snow tires...I went everywhere in that thing. Remember that big snow storm in the 90's, I drove to Specialty in New West in 1-2 feet is snow, did all the hills in New West at Andy...

Re: snow day
"NOT I !" said the little Red 510..... I shoveled my sidewalk, the neighbors on each side, plus the 94 year old lady's next door to me, back driveway, for when the care worker comes. Tired of winter, still snowing here, -4. I parked me vehicles out back as the insane snow plow driver comes down our ...
