Re: Hi Guys!

I love the "dead" pedal for the passenger in the Falcon.! Having taken some people for a rompin' ride in my car, we forget what it is like for a passenger trying to both hang on and plant ones feet on the firewall.

Welcome to the site!

Re: New potential products for 510's and Datsun from Mattndew76

It is an earlier form of Eastern Arabic, flavored with a touch of mid-south African Swahili, translated to an ancient Rune dialogue, then sent to a Japanese translator who puts the instructions in our parts boxes, then re-interpreted into Jive talk, and then back into Canadian......somewhere it went...

I forgot you had a KA in there, was going to say I have a manifold. Never mind.

Re: 71 1200 Project ( Picture intense)

More than welcome, glad it has gone to a good home. 69 HP is just fine, our drives are about MOMENTUM......so once we are up to speed...we just never slow.....so, that is why your are working on that great suspension...Brakes last me FOREVER...as I never use them. Why would you, they just slow you d...

Re: 71 1200 Project ( Picture intense)

Thanks for the beer!

Powerbench has promised to have the car ready for next summer, so he has signed up for the 7th position on the starting grid for our drives.

That green should just "POP" in the sunlight, looks good.

The punch-up on 104th was gone when I got back there.

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

So, on Friday I go to fire the car up to get the oil warm for an oil change. I hit the key and then realize my pyro displays are out...The battery is completely DEAD. What the hell, I am haunted by this issue again? I go to the trunk and check connections. I grab my battery maintainer alligators cli...

Re: wipe your face gas cars!

I wonder at what point you will have to take a medical and some sort of training to withstand the brutal G-force of acceleration.....before you buy these cars?! I can see it now in the Tesla accessory rack; 1- U.S.A.F. Certified 10G suit, get yours now for the low, low price of $6,000.00. Be the fir...

Re: LSD Break Away Touque...??

I do not like "drifting" either, I want the rear end of the car as planted as possible, I am no hero. No Tanner Faust here. It's one thing at Solo to get a controlled slide going within reason, but, at our 70-80 MPH high speed corners, that are not smooth, we really do not want a car that ...

Re: LSD Break Away Touque...??

Personally, I want my diff to be locked up at the lower end when I jump on it. Think of our last drive, on the way back on the prairie, where we got those kinda hair pin turns and very tight sweepers, that is where we want the rear to be well planted and BOTH wheels doing the driving. And if you do ...

Re: 1971 2 Door, L16 --> 2.1 Long Rod --> SR20VE

Andy at Specialty uses a torque plate for all our engines. It's mimicking the head bolt distortion, upon boring, keeps those cylinders nice and round and hence good piston ring seal.

Re: 71 1200 Project ( Picture intense)

PM me your phone number and address, then we can key up a meet. I leave work at 2:30 most days or on a weekend. If a six pack of Sleemans fell into my hands that would be more than great. Rooting through the Archives is always fun, I could have saved Indiana Jones a lot of trouble as the Ark is in A...

Re: 71 1200 Project ( Picture intense)

I donned my pith helmet and Blazo lantern today, descending into the Bert Vorgon Archives. After moving 72 boxes, finding things I did not know I had, I came upon the suspect box. Sure enough, right at the bottom, under an original Nissan Competition catalog, was the 1200 Factory Chassis and Body ma...
