Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

Oh Yah, the sign. That was the time Dave Krulitsky followed us in his huge Chevy van. We had 14 people on that weekend I think. That was when we had the BIG crash at the go-carts and Jaz got his hand and leg hurt, that was a pretty hard hit we all got into, glad I was in the lead...ha..ha... Good me...

Whoa...hold the phone, rewind the camera..... What's with the licence plate screws....on such a beautiful build and we have sub-standard mounting screws..... I used some nice socket head stainless with washers, looks really good. That camera is too cool! I worry when backing into curbed parkin...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

The Knox poster I always did for our annual walk up the Hill, to scope out any road changes, etc. It really was an excuse for 12 hours of bench racing, and, the insanity of how intense the go-carts were. It got so the owner knew when we showed up, he would NOT let civilians be on there with us, so w...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

I spent yesterday down on the Archives looking for my fuel tank "pump down" hose. It is an AN fitting with 5' of rubber hose screwed onto the threaded fitting. I had made this for the hillclimb, where I could pump down and empty my main tank, to lighten up the car for the race. I now neede...

Re: build date and year 1970 what month

I will fix that.

Too bad we did not keep going with this at the time, might have quite the reference data base now. 2017 was when Byron last updated.

Anybody else who wants to throw a number in, I can keep this going for a bit. Same format, handle or real name, whatever.

Re: My Brakes Suck!

What I did on mine, was to put a 1" section into the brake pedal arm. That both increased the leverage, and, it gave me more "feel", modulation of you will. Plus I bent it over a hair. I can measure that EXACTLY if you like, it has been awhile since I did that....40 years...sheesh.......

Re: build date and year 1970 what month

Being that there are not many of us older persons left on this site....that REMEMBER the threads we have had... Here is a list from one of those threads. It has gone by the wayside, to bad, it was filling in lots of holes in the production of our cars. This was from the time I was getting engi...

Re: BACK TO MY NISSAN ROOTS

Hey Jason, The "one" pump I have fought the whole time with this car. That being said, when I put ALL new calipers on, REAR were factory and the fronts (NLA factory) I got from "POWERSTOP". With all new pads at the same time, they have been the best since I had the car. I put the...

Re: moar good videos :P

Again, Thanks! As I read some of the comments on YouTube, those that lived in California really lived the Motorsport dream of events. I'm pretty sure I have a picture or two of David's car. For us here in Vancouver, at the heyday of Westwood, our local track, we had some of the Trans-Am cars come an...

Re: moar good videos :P

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THAT!!! The closet I ever came to a Can-Am car was when David Saville Peck brought his car to our local hillclimb and once to our Westwood race track.. What a monster it was. We did get the Trans-Am series here. Thanks again, I am going to Chrome cast to my TV, pull out a pot o...

Re: New swap-4G63T

Very Nice! My car makes about 250 RWHP, which in my car, with 205/50 x 15 Yokohama 048's and soon to have A-052's. It was about the perfect balance of NOT doing anything too stupid when applying power exiting corners, more so in spirited canyon carving, which for me was/is critical to be able to USE...
