Re: Knox Mountain 2019

Morning World, It's 3:28 AM...let the adventure begin! Leaving at 4 sharp. Went to bed early so this is actually not too bad, just have to get some coffee into me. Knox will be a whole day for me, leaving at 4:30 to 5 PM, that gets me home around 9'ish. Looks dry here right now, will have to check h...

Re: Knox Mountain 2019

Morning! It goes without saying...but...dress and bring clothes for any weather, plus some food and water for the car. Another horrible crash on the Coquihalla yesterday, blocking BOTH ways for hours, 1 fatality. A Porsche 911 looks to either have collected or been collected by this multi vehicle cr...

Re: Knox Mountain 2019

Morning Mike, I plan to leave my place at about 4:30 AM, which would put me going past Hope about 5:20'ish. May need a rest stop at the top of the climb, maybe a photo op too. Takes about 4 hours to Kelowna, gates for the Hillclimb open at 9:00. I usually wander the pits, check things out, say hi to...

Re: Any Gamer's here

Glad to see there are 3 of us "kids" on this site. I am totally enthralled with this Metro game, for me the level of detail is staggering, and, the ability to have a more "open world" is just fascinating. I had done nothing but lineal, first person shooters (except maybe BIOSHOCK) before, so being a...

Re: Knox Mountain 2019

I am going up on the Saturday, weather looks to be typical for the long weekend in Kelowna. At least it does not appear that it is going to be nuclear for temps. There are only 56 entries as of this morning. I suspect that Knox Hillclimb will be a hard sell not too far down the road. Cam has said th...

Re: 510 Day - Byron's place in Maple Ridge

BIG thanks to Byron, Joyce and Barry for letting the tradition continue, even if our main host could not be there! WOW, that was one of my more frustrating and HOT drives out to Byron’s. I ran into really heavy traffic in Cloverdale and basically fought it the whole way. What a gong show of traffic ...

Re: 510 Day - Byron's place in Maple Ridge

Happy 510 Day World!

Seems we have a spectacular day of weather, supposed to be very warm over at Byron's area.

I have my stash of goodies all loaded up, car fueled and ready to go.

My first hand experience...Andy made my drive shaft in the lathe, carefully did basically what datsuntech said, and I have NO balance weights and NO issues after 20 years of use.

Re: New Clutch Slips

With engine running, car safely on jack stands, with one hand make sure the clutch lever is retracted as far as possible...with the other hand...can you "feel" if the clutch arm is maybe NOT fully retracting the throw out bearing away from the clutch disc. You will feel a vibration going through the...
