no paint. that's the inner layer...IE whats left when I remove the silver top layer.

what would you suggest as far as refinement?

ya know, I've never had one some back to me that didnt fit right. I've also not done one with really screwed up ends. I have had plenty with some dings. Even dings in the corners. Well SILL have not had time to do much with the car. Carb never went back on. ...

but yesterday the car went to the body shop

so picked the carb up from the shop. They had to replace the main body of it.
