Re: Is a full roll cage street legal in Cali?
Was going to say possibly for, obstruction of view. I have a M3 with a complete cage built by, http://www.tcdesignfab.com/ in the Bay Area, CA. Picture of said car with cage. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/846/img2604t.jpg This goes all the way to the front, behind the dash and is boxed in. I...

I think Baz said they were working on a slotted rear crossmember that was made for using a short nose R200.

Re: offset question
I run Rota RB 15X7 +25's with 205/50 rear and 195/50 front. I had to run 1/4" spacers up front to keep the tire wall from rubbing the strut. The rear was super close to rubbing the lip without modification. I switched to coilovers and the setup remained the same to clear front. I have some seri...

510 FTW in fantasy baseball
So I am not even a baseball fan but the fantasy sports gives me something to do. So with all games played for the week I log in to check my standings and there it was.

Re: Boost gauge mounting location
I could be wrong but don't some people use the vents from a 350Z to replace stock vents? If so I would think sombody has made a 2 1/16 gauge mount for that.

Re: Wicked's 73 2 door
Say there Wicked, nice work! Your engine plate on the strut tower, does it say L16 100hp or L18 ? There should also be a date stamp for production month and year on the drivers post, could you post that too please? L16 100HP. Unless I am wrong only SSS models came with a L18. And also I believe all...

Re: Wicked's 73 2 door
Argh  I tried to respond the other day and next thing I know I couldn't connect to the forum. Any other page was fine but not my precious. Anyway I found I could access it from work and from my phone over 3g just not from my router. So my router and I had a discussion about my needs and who own...

Re: Wicked's 73 2 door
The Bosch lights I bought used were pretty faded so I cleaned my clears and painted them with a few coats of Krylon stained glass spray paint. I think they turned out well. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h38/aodtempest/2010-05-07193026.jpg Also, cleaned and painted the grill and bezels today. htt...

Re: Faulty Ignition switch?
Nevermind, I found it. Here are the part numbers for the switch from 3 manufacturers. I used a 1979 280zx as the source. I don't have the manufacturer names handy but here are the numbers. Thanks for the lead Icehouse.

Sweet, I will check Napa tomorrow if that's it. Thanks. Also my brother in-law said it wouldn't go into the lock position just before this happened.

Faulty Ignition switch?
Need some insight on this one if anybody has some. My ignition seems to have a dead spot in the on position. It just happened today, no previous signs of a problem. This is a rough one for me since my fan, fuel pumps, and what not will just cut out if the key gets jiggled. As of yet I have not taken...
