The crusty lookin head looks like it might need a new valve or two, but the camshaft looks in good shape
Clean looking head looks like the cam is a little rusty.

Re: 210 head needed

I have a bunch of these heads as well, complete but I would consider them cores because they are used and their condition is unknown. Would probably need a skim and valve seals at the least.
would only ask $50-100 bucks for them. I will ship but its expensive to ship a heavy item so keep that in mind.

Re: SR20 Radiator Suggestions

I used a 120$ cxracing radiator along with their intercooler. I live in southern california desert where it gets very hot, but I only need a single 12" ebay fan to keep my engine cool, so I would say the radiator works well. Even with the intercooler blocking most of the radiator it works great. htt...

Re: FS5C71A EDM 240z L series 5 speed transmission w drivesh

I think you're right. It looks like the z car FS5C71A had a longer tail shaft like this http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u229/mbrazle/280Z/FS5C71A%20Transmission/IMG_2286.jpg So it seems up for sale is a Roadster 5 speed with an L series bellhousing, perfect for fitment to a 510. You may have been...

FS5C71A Roadster 5 speed transmission w L series bellhousing

Hey there guys I just aquired another datsun project so now I need to sell off some of my hoard of parts to fund the new Roadster project. It's a three piece Roadster 5 speed transmission with an L series bellhousing from an early 240z stock roadster ratios: 2.957 1.858 1.311 1 0.864 I believe the b...

Re: 510 stock tach

Received it and tested it, it is in working condition.
Thanks for the easy transaction!

My tach needle seems to bounce around no matter what tachometer I hook up, so now I've got to figure out if everything is grounded properly or what the deal is with the interference.

Re: sr20det engine breather question

Hi Andrew, Thanks for the comprehensive reply. I have what appears to be a factory catch can off the firewall-side of the T, and it drains into the crankcase. Is that actually an oil separator? Should I remove that? So you are saying instead of a breather on the other side of the T, an oil catch ca...

Re: Orange Cable SR20 S13 Transmission

Depends what sort of functionality you're interested in. There's a neutral safety switch, reverse switch and speed sensor that are all on the tranny. I'm using a mechanical speedo and no neutral safety so the only sensor I've hooked up is the reverse sensor. The sr will work mostly fine this way, b...

Re: Over 500 HP with a VG30, why go with a SR?

SR20DET is better. Why? Because I have one! No seriously, I have about 400whp and its completely useless in a 510. 500 would be even more useless. Sometimes I feel like I should go back to a smaller T28 framed turbo, but I'm in it for the highway pulls! Where the VG suffers with its heavy iron block...
