Re: fs 280zx turbo rear r200 diff in nc 100

I stand corrected then. Did the 280ZX use CV half shafts or U-joint half shafts?? The turbo 300ZX had the nice 6 ball birfield joints - almost indestructible.

Re: fs 280zx turbo rear r200 diff in nc 100

The turbo 280ZX didn't originally use a R200, only the early 300ZX. The turbo 300ZX came with the much sought after R200 CLSD. The later 300ZX's switched to a VLSD (less desirable). Was this a swap in?

Re: sway bars for sr20

Custom made to my specs. by Whiteline in Australia. Was very easy to work with and the price was very reasonable - about $150 for the bar and $100 to ship it to Canada.

Front bar only, didn't need a rear bar after I got done sorting the springs & shocks out.

Re: Montreal airport customs cluster f...

And the cross border information sharing is getting stronger regarding driving records too. Currently there is something called the "Reciprocal Suspensions of Licences" between Ontario and nine (9) Provinces and forty one (41) States covering license suspensions due to DUI's, etc. This is to prevent...

Re: 510 owners in Southern Ontario

I'll also volunteer my place as a meeting area. I have a nice grass lawn area beside the shop we can use as a "show 'n shine" area and room for BBQ or inside room if the date we pick turns out to be rainy. It is fairly easy to find (on Trafalgar Rd. north of Georgetown) near the great toring roads a...

Propeller Shaft U-Joint Angles

Just thought I would post this topic up to clear up some mis-information I have seen floating around recently about the angles produced by different tranny swaps. I think it is impossible to get things perfectly in alignment using stock components - but that may be OK for most vehicles that see high...

Yes, if you measure outside lip to lip. I usually measure fron the flat to flat below the lip which is where the bead sits on.

Re: WTB Vintage Wheels

Here are what the Corvair steel wheels look like that were popular with "dimers" in the '70's. They were a 13" x 4.5" steel wheel with a 1-1/8" + offset. GM OEM Part# 3790693. I have a set of 4 in excellent shape if anyone is interested.

Re: WTB Vintage Wheels

I have a mint set of 13" Corvair OEM steel wheels with the GM part# on them still. This used to be the hot setup for a 510 in the early '70s for those of us who couldn't afford a set of "mags". Can't get any more old school than that. PM me if interested

Was on a flight from Los Angeles to Toronto last night during the Canada/USA women's game. The stewardesses were giving us updates all along. When they announced the final the passengers went wild with cheers, etc. Seems to be a lot of Canadian spirit and excitement. Can you envision what it will be...

I had a brand new in box one which I sold to Whitehead Performance in Toronto a couple of years ago (as inventory). Might want to see if Greg still has it and is willing to sell it. I tried to sell on eBay at the time but there was no interest. Whitehead Performance Greg Whitehead www.whiteheadperfo...

Re: 510 owners in Southern Ontario

Hi guys. I am in Erin, ON and a member of OZC as well. I'd be up to host a meet at my place this summer if you would like to do a tour around the Forks of the Credit area or something and end up at my place for a mini-show and BBQ.
