Re: ASH starts machining

in a way you are right, but when you are switching between metals you need a diferent setup for the torch to make it optimal, but you will only get to know the tricks if you have a skilled welder to talk to. my friend at work is one of the best welders I have ever seen, and he is the one that I go t...

Re: ASH starts machining

that is the plan James, I am on my 3rd revision. just trying to make a quality product. The other problem is the cost, the Materials cost $23.00 and min of one hour machining time means that I would need to charge about $100.00 per holder. I'm not sure if this is to much. I am also looking at gettin...

Re: ASH starts machining

I have also been working on a stand that I can use to display some of my work. It is also able to hook onto my tire when I am at a car show. It is made to fold down flat, and can be adjusted to any angle and then locked into place.

Re: WTB wheel spacers in vancouver

the problem with going that thick is that you will need to put longer wheel studs in the hubs, youcan get them from Nissan motor sports, but they are quite expensive. someone else on here may have another option for wheel studs.

Re: radar detectors

Yes that is my usual way, start out at the front of the pack and slowly fall to the back. that is because I know my own limits, but not everyone does. but saying that... we have a good group that plays well together, and respects each others limits. This whole thing is basically, not if it is...

Re: radar detectors

thanks for the input, but it is not something I would be using around town. The traffic is terrible and there are just not that many places I would be speeding, also on most of my routes I know where to slow down. It is mostly for these 500 mile days on roads you are unfamiliar with, that would bene...

radar detectors

I was just thinking about the drives that we go on in the summer months, and up here in Beautiful B.C. we have some very stupid speeding laws. I have never bought a radar detector and was just wondering if they are all created equal. are some better than others? Are they a waste of money? Up here in...

I am also working on a set of struts for a friend. He is going to run my camber plates and is having me just put the whole thing together for him
so it is basically just a one day swap for him.
