Welcome to the Realm. We have a couple guys here from Portugal.
We’d love to see some photos of your project, am sure glad you were able to save it from being crushed and made into rebar.
We look forward to your updates and photos, welcome to the site.

Re: Dash cam footage from Abbotsford

My $0.02 worth. If you slow motion the vid, the rig barely makes it across the crosswalk before the red light - he was gunning it, no doubt. The pickup however is in the wrong as he turned into the path of the rig. They’re both idiots and the book should be thrown at them both. Thank god there were ...

Re: snow day

Robin, I’m highly envious! I don’t have a 510 I’d take out in the snow, I wish I did. I do hold onto those memories of the days where I was rallying in the winter for hours and hours on end - great fun. I took the Armada out this morning in the fresh snow. No one was driving, it was great. But even ...

Hi Matt, send me a PM if the block doesn’t get claimed. I have a home as well locally.

Take care, Byron

Re: In tank fuel pump conversion

Question: is it just sheet metal screws that hold the top part to the tank? Is the no plate that goes underneath? What type of gasket makes the seal between the top part and the tank itself - some sort of gasket?
You’ll have to excuse the 20 questions, but I’d love more information.

Thanks - Byron

Re: For all you 80's music lovers - Blondie

Such great times in Motorsport! There was a few footage shots there that I haven’t seen. Nissan (and Toyota) were for the most were part only competing in the Mediterranean and endurance events in Aftrica at the time (Kenya and Ivory Coast), I saw a fleeting glance of a 240RS, a couple Celica shots....

Re: NotA510 620 long bed

Nice project - welcome to the Realm. You're lucky to have the factory tach... petty tough to find one of those. Glad you kept the L20B.. good move, keep it classy. You have the hot rod E30 (past owner of an 87 E30is - loved every minute of it for 13 years). I too had a long box - it was a 78, dually...

Re: Headliner bow measurements and color order

The Bronze has a full cage, and a roof liner installed like the Z is my only alternative. I’ve always wanted to do this, but have shy’d away because gluing it on would be the only solution- and I suspect one would need some pretty special glue given the heat the roof skin reaches. It would take away...

Wagons begin at 8xx xxx, so 2748 is still pretty low down in production.

Re: Headliner bow measurements and color order

This a great info Jim. I remember seeing the painted ends on the Greg Terry car, but I don’t remember any colour on my brothers 71. Both were headlinermart units that went in. But in both cases I still had the bows in the original headliner before starting the new headliner, so the ‘orientation’ was...

Re: Jeff's '70 2 Door

Great work! And nice detailed shots.
There was a lot of time spent on this repair, we can see that.
Glad to see your skills posted here on the Realm - good motivation for the rest of us!

Keep em coming!

Re: Another 72 510

I like the seat belt mod - that's pretty slick. So the parts are S13 recoil unit and a Pathfinder (1995) receiver? My brothers 4 door needs an upgrade - and I don't like the aftermarket belts much. The ones my father bought actually back off while in use, so what will they do if really needed? So I'...

Re: dogleg trans info

The Trans X Member will be different, but you can use the stock 4sd drive shaft. I have 2 of these transmissions myself. They are known to not be a strong. Mine went in "temporarily" in 2004... it's still there! And I do run R compounds on track days and auto X's - it sees use. At any rate, the clut...
