Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

Wow they do look identical! They are 14" Watanabes... I would have to measure the offset/width, I'll try to remember tomorrow when I take them off and swap them for the other set of wheels in hopes to get it registered. Mine have that same sort of color as yours on the inside, but it doesn't really ...

Re: On My Dime

The sill plates cleaned up really nice and those belts look good too. Is the top mount location there from the factory?

Car looks great! I have photos of both of my kids behind the wheel around that age in my Bronze thread - very cool. You must be a happy guy right now - livin the dream for sure. Byron I think these pictures will be great when looking back; even maybe a "now and then" type picture when she is older....

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

So I actually would want one of those stickers! ? I put it up on a on the 510/1600 Owner Registry group and got the same thing. It would just take too long to make them for people; I also like it being a little original so there is a bit of stinginess too ;) I don't want this to turn into a project...

I have no idea. It came in that little envelope with the car. I tried searching on Yahoo auctions and in Japanese, but couldn't find it anywhere.

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

Well picked the car up yesterday morning. The wait seemed to take FOREVER. It's at the house now. I do have a few more hurdles to deal with to register it. The Marines really don't want me to have a 3rd car (only allowed 1 per driver/it is waiverable). I got a letter from my Commander saying it's al...

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

Still no car, but I've had this "play on words" idea in my head for little bit. I think it's kinda funny, but I don't think most will/do. In any case I designed this up on the computer and used the wife's craft machine to cut it out on vinyl. Now if only I had my car to put it on. It'll probably end...

Re: Mounting a Spook

There are some adhesives that would hold it on...BUT.....you would never get it off should you crack or damage the spook. So you have to ask yourself, drill some holes for easy removal, or, have a really tough time trying to get the spook away from the valence with super strong adhesive and end up ...

Mounting a Spook

Has anyone mounted one of these with an adhesive and had success? I'm looking to get one, but am wondering if there is some sort of double sided adhesive that is strong enough to hold it on.

I'm trying to avoid punching holes in the car if I can.

Thanks
