Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

Still no car, but I've had this "play on words" idea in my head for little bit. I think it's kinda funny, but I don't think most will/do. In any case I designed this up on the computer and used the wife's craft machine to cut it out on vinyl. Now if only I had my car to put it on. It'll probably end...

Re: Mounting a Spook

There are some adhesives that would hold it on...BUT.....you would never get it off should you crack or damage the spook. So you have to ask yourself, drill some holes for easy removal, or, have a really tough time trying to get the spook away from the valence with super strong adhesive and end up ...

Mounting a Spook

Has anyone mounted one of these with an adhesive and had success? I'm looking to get one, but am wondering if there is some sort of double sided adhesive that is strong enough to hold it on.

I'm trying to avoid punching holes in the car if I can.

Thanks

133 pages worth, and counting. Rich has been with us for a while now on the Realm. http://the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=8114 Byron Wow that Coupe was BEAUTIFUL and he did amazing work on it. What a great story to read watching it get worked on and travel from Japan to the US back to Japan an...

Re: Help Please! High beams blowing fuses.

Here's the Wiring Diagram from the Google Docs Archive with some highlights added. To see it bigger right click and open in another tab. I didn't color coat the highlighted lines to the wire color because I didn't think about it. Yellow is energized when the headlight knob is pulled out all the way ...

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

Nice Coupe! I loved the story....it sure brought back memories of my many trips to look at bluebirds while i was living in Japan. It's so hard to find a nice one. Most people think that it's easy in Japan but its really not that easy at all. Honestly, I felt that way when I started looking for one;...

Re: DQ 10.2 - Suggestions for New 510 Owners

The 510 Archives is still viable. Do you have actual links you tried that don't work for you? I checked this morning when I was home. For whatever reason the second level of folders won't appear on my iPhone on the google docs archive. When I am on my computer all the directories show and I can see...

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

That's a great find. Very jealous here. Nothing to do but ship it back and enjoy it! It's amazing how much better the clutch and brake reservoirs seem to fit when in RHD. Also, on your first post, third picture, what are the two cars (teal, white) lurking behind the 510s? I have never seen that gri...

At least when I pull up the Google Docs link on my phone, it appears that the FSMs are no longer available. Does anyone have a source for them?

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

I'm not sure why I said Supra. I literally translated the magazine article I got about the car, pulled up DR30 online and typed this. I wonder how hard parts will be to source in the states for Skyline brakes. Maybe skylines share brake components with another car. Something I'll have to start resea...

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

To dream! Congrats. As I said in my OP in this thread - great adventure! Steering wheel is a Z wheel, I'd at least find the OE SSS wheel, if not try to find a '69 SSS horn button (personal preference). Interesting that it has camber plates. I wonder what else you'll find. Definitely not from-the-fa...
