where does the dome light wiring run?

I am running all the new wireing in my car and seem to remember that the dome light wiring runs along the side of the roof brace (is help by clips) rather than through the brace, is that correct?
Probably to prevent niose and chafing?

Thanks

Re: Tim's 69

Quick update I have been working on the wiring lately trying to fit the fuse panel, ECU, wideband O2 controller, circuit breakers and all the relays into the passenger foot well without it looking like a robot bird nest. I ended up making a panel under the glove box to hold everything. The panel is ...

Re: fender gaskets?

From what I read these days silicone is actually bad for rubber and will in the end do more damage than good. Exactly the opposite of the advertising for Armor All when it came out. I looked for quite a while for something to use on the seals i could not replace on the 69 and found a mix of glycerin...

Re: Ecotec 510

Nice work! I did the same thing with my master cylinder reservoirs, thought I was being original. :D

The ecotech is a nice choice since there has been a lot of race development done and lots of parts are available.

71 4 door $2,500 (not mine)

I am up in Coquitlam visiting some friends and saw a tan 71 4 door for sale so I thought I would let people know.
The car is at the Shell station on como lake ave.
I took a quick look at it, looks fairly stock and undamaged.

Cheers

Re: 510 Wiper motor wiring

I am just starting to wire my car and am looking at the same issues e.g. how to wire the wipers and the turn signals From what I have found so far it seems like the best thing (for me) to do is to use the stock wiper switch. If that works for you it might save you some trouble. I found an explanatio...

Not sure, the marks kinda look like tooling marks or something since they are in the same place on both but you never know...

Those are really, really expensive. not sure they are worth that much..

I need a windshield and don't want to get a crappy one, so I guess I am in too.
I'll need to plan ahead a bit for the funds though.

Re: WTB: Good 510 Daily to raise to iconic status

Yea, the subject is a little....uh, over the top. But, that being said, nice Job on the Z! Always great to see someone build a really nice 510 or Z car. When I get done with my 69 I would like to do a Z car (the opposite of what you are doing) but let's not mention that to my wife yet  Don't t...
