Re: WTB rad for ka swap

I have a vw rabbit radiator with vw cap, an inline filler, and temp switch for fans I may be selling. Hasn't seen much use as the car is / was a seasonal driver and it was installed a few years ago. I just bought a 3 core champion that is in the sates ready for pickup. If that radiator works out I w...

Re: Tow advice

I didn't know you need a bungee on the steering wheel. . This is an incorrect statement - the car will tow fine unless someone dialed all of the caster out of the front end - which is extremely unlikely. It will tow fine – do not tie off the wheel. If you did, you'd break something on the first sha...

Re: 15x7 konig rewinds and fitment - tires ?

Thank you for sharing. All help is appreciated. I can take better pics if you want and/or try it out on the front this weekend. Right now it's pretty much flush with the fender. If it is convenient for you, sure... but don't go out of your way. It may be one of those things I just have to try and se...

Re: Tow advice

But what would really concern me is the paint on the front of your new car. It will take a beating on that trip - especially this time of year as anywhere with higher elevations will have sand/gravel on the roads! Either wrap the front of the car (and cover the front windshield) or at least install...

Re: 15x7 konig rewinds and fitment - tires ?

Looking at this same setup 15x7 0 offset konig rewinds. I have found a lot of conflicting info and duke's post seems to be the only one that actually comes from first hand experience. Check out my project page. I have Rewinds tucked under stock fenders front and rear. Alot of fender rolling and beat...

Re: Wtb: Cream 510 Sedan Rear Seat

I think I have exactly what you're looking for. I was going to paint them black so if you can find me a equally good condition black seat you can come here and we can do a straight swap. Or maybe you have some other parts I need, who knows. I can send a picture later if you like. I am almost certain...

Re: WTB 1972 510 Windshield

You know I would be in for a group buy. My windshiled has perma-dirt that I can not clean no matter what I try. Mine too it has the wiper burn or something. When the sun hits it just right it turns white and I can't see. Apparently it can be polished by a glass shop? Thats considering it doesnt bre...

Re: Custom Datsun 510 Dash Centre Console

no good for sons '68. but will work for my '72. anyone from lower mainland want to do a group order to cut down on shipping? I'd be interested in a group buy. Anyone else? I'm in. I'm also interested. Nice to see this materialize, I've been waiting since I first saw the concept. I'm just sick of ha...

Re: BERT VORGON'S DUAL TANK SYSTEM

I was just thinking that the extra octane is for being able to increase the boost and then in turn making more power. However, with my motor I had told Andy to overbuild it, and that my power goal is a safe 200. When I asked about sneaking more power, the problem is the connecting rods are still sto...

Re: L20BT

Is that a Z20E block? Great score. But you NEED to drill the 8X 5/16 holes down the spark plugs side of the block to allow water to properly flow between that block and the L series head. If this isn't done, the top of the cylinder bores will wear quite quickly due to improper cooling of the block ...

Hmmm... I wonder when I get my car put back together if it would benefit from a system like this, or if it would blow up the motor.

Nice to see this materialize, I've been waiting since I first saw the concept. I'm just sick of having mine in an ugly metal mount that's too low to see.
