RE: Aluminum Control Arm.

It seems totally plausible to me that while your at it making this mice aluminum lca that you could make a few improvements to the original 35 yo design. Like maybe making an aluminum A arm that would bolt in and function like stock, it would certainly distribute the shock load better... give better...

?? For you racers

If I cut coil off of a set of non-progressive 2.5" id coilover springs, will it affect the spring rate?

I guess I should have mentioned accord/prelude, not civic. Ah, matt, the earlier (88-91) civic seats are great, have spent quite a bit of time in those, and especially the SI seats, those being that they are made by recarro make them good automatically, they have great thigh and and side support pl...

92-95 civic seats blow oats... drove one 36hrs straight, and will never own one again. Worst seats ever. My poor back still cries out just remembering the thought of thinking about those seats. Killed me after the first 40 miles or so.

I had some 96 240sx seats... the inner rails sit higher than the outside so if you installed them as is you would lean to the inside of the car, and you cant easily put on different rails, you would need to make a spacer of some kind under the inner rails for it work right. Good luck.

dont forget that by using the 280zx struts you are changing the camber also, its give more + camber which negates the narrower track you are wanting them for. You will need camber plates too so plan on another $180 to get those wheels you want so bad... starting to add up yet? $300 wheels + $300 tir...

there are a lot of people running those adapters in recent years... not me... but a +40 offset will probably make your wheels stick out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in the front, its not a lot but is really noticeable to some one who is as anal about his car as me. You may want to rethink your wheel choice...
