I guess that means Ole Blue, my '68 3-on-the-tree 1300 car turns 65.
I guess he can retire this year without penalty!!

Unable to log in
Hi everyone, It's been a while since I posted, but I have been lurking. I have an issue where I can log in from my laptop as it auto logs in. At some point, I saved the password, I guess. But there's no way I can log in from my phone. And I worry because I get a new laptop in a few weeks!!! I'll adm...

Re: OCTOBERFAST 2022
Someone did tell me about the newly paved sections on Hwy 3. I‘be been in Northern Alberta all week, got back last night, but I have a ship in the harbour that I’m attending this weekend for work. If the job finished early enough today to get a permit for the 510, this would be a fun drive. We’ll ha...

Re: LSD: Clutch Type vs Helical ATB
Jeffball, out of curiosity - what is the break away torque set at on your diff? I run a precision gear LSD in an R180. Mine is set at 42lbs break away. When I was running the Wolf Creek CV set up, it was horribly noisy due to the play in the CV set up. Oddly, I put good ole U joints back in (half sh...

More to come in this space… Byron (Byron, I edited your last piece a bit to clean it up and add some white space to make it more accessible - RF) Thanks Rob This past week, after getting the transmission in, I started on some of the smaller things on the ever- growing to-do list. I bought a new spr...

Blue 510 Vintage Racer
We’ll, it’s about time to start a thread. This little project started in 2006, but I didn’t know I would one day be the current care taker. Enter a fella whom was introduced to me a few years earlier. This being 2002. Paul wanted to run a 510 in the East African Safari Rally, and run in the vintage ...

Re: The Bronze EFI bits.....
Just catching this thread this morning. We did build a lot of cool things in this era. Rob had his hand in there due to his close proximity to the shop. I did end up buying most of this equipment when that shop closed down, it spent 5 years sitting in a container while I bought a house and built a w...

Re: MISSION ROAD RACE SEPT 17/18
Those vids are great, sounds like the car is really singing a good time. I lost the tach during the race Saturday, but I know I was pushing 7500 at the end of the front straight in 4th in the warm up session when the tach was working.
Thanks Keith

Re: My Brakes Suck!
I would agree that changing the pad material is the first step. Pads need heat and friction to start to work. A rotor that big has significant swept area, compared to what your car came with. I run a really high pedal ration Tilton box on my “street” car, due to that I need both legs, one arm and my...
