The 510 Realm

To me the flares look like stuff from Dobi back in the late 80's. My friend had the f/g front fenders on his 510 (never flared the rear before selling) & I bought the front & rear flares only. They have the same shapes to it.

A friend that lives in Las Vegas saw this 510 today & sent me a picture. I lived in Vegas for 7 years ('00-'07) & could not find any 510's there, but then I did not know of the 510 realm either at the time.

Got the GM tilt column installed/wired. Added console with oil/water/volt gauges. Mounted the Autometer tach. Also repainted the license plate frame from my '72 that donating all its' stuff to this '71.

Fitted a late 70's Z car speedo in place of the stock one.

Winning lottery ticket, so I can afford to finish my 510.

Put a remote trunk release in.

I bought the Scout II in early '99. Along with moving to Las Vegas, this was what probably put the '72 510 on hold. It started out to be a tow rig that the family could pile in to tow the sand rail to Glamis, but we sold the rail & I got involved with 4 wheeling the Scout. I've rebuilt the motor...

Today I installed the Prelude? seats & blue carpet from from the '72 & installed a better shifter boot. Eventually, I'll get the rear seat from the '72 re-upholstered to be similar to the fronts

Donated $20...Thanks for access to soooo much info/ideas in 1 location. I've been spending an hour or so a night reading through threads, planning all sorts of stuff for the new '71 2-dr in the future.
