Re: Diff ID
So I contacted Precision Gear, and they said that my diff is not a precision gear diff. Any more ideas? Where can I get different clutches for it?

Diff ID
I have a diff like this one in the rally car. it is starting to break away easier than usual, so I need to rebuild it, but I have no idea what kind it is. It is a R180. It kinda looks like a Nismo LSD, but says LOM6 on it like a precision gear lsd. It is a clutch type 4 pinion lsd. Any help? Jim S. ...

5 speed Trans Mount isolator
I thought I read somewhere that there was a chevrolet transmission mount isolator you can use in a 510 with a 5 speed swap. Was I mistaken?
Thanks

5 Speed Trans ID Help
I have two 5-speed transmissions and I have no idea where they are from or what they are. P1010781.jpg I think this is just a stock Z-car 5 speed, it came in my road racing car, but i think it was just a spare. There are no numbers on top of the bellhousing, in fact, they are ground off. Approx. gea...

Re: 72 510 Group 2 Rally Car
That corner has a really deep ditch and a sign on the outside of the corner, and all the cars ahead of us has pulled alot of dirt and gravel onto the pavement. So it was more like"Oh S**T"

Re: 72 510 Group 2 Rally Car
So they started us DFL, so we had nowhere to go but up. The first coupe stages we passed 2 cars and then they re-seeded us up about 10 places, where we should have been. Friday is the longest and toughest single days in the rally-america schedule. So just making it through the night(you race untill ...

Re: 72 510 Group 2 Rally Car
Update time. So..... Don't let even well known stock car engine builders build your high performance l16, you will just end up with a $1800 useless paperweight. Turns out you do need the copper wire in the block when it's grooved for it,otherwise it burns through the head gasket, even though they sa...

What would no spark or fuel indicate? Something hooked up incorrectly?

Re: Problems with KA 510 swap, no sparky
No spark at the coil. We ohm tested through the primary side oh the coil(1.1 ohm). I downloaded the FSM for the 2404x and followed the flowchart for code 21 and it seems the ECU is not allowing spark. Also looked at icehouses diagram for the swap and it seems we have all wires hooked up correctly. A...

Re: Oil Cooler Questions
I also like the internal heat exchanger, but as byron pointed out, my radiator has epoxied end tanks. A new radiator is out of the budget until I wrap this one around a tree, so i think i will be going with the volvo oil cooler. Brad, have you gotten around to the ducting on your cooler? I was think...
