I've peed in my tank, too!!!!
Just make sure you don't do it when the tank is empty, makes for some horrible exhaust fumes.

Happy Halloween

I was told the same, and that's what I have assumed was the case for a good long time. This would also attribute that the use of straight H20 can and WILL cause premature bearing failure in the water pump. There is also a small hole on the water pump itself, pointing downwards that during disassembl...

RE: Dual Post: Steering Box U-Joint & Heater Core Mishap

Thanks Byron! Well here's the amazing part, if that resistor is required for the speed differences in the fan settings, then why in the hell does mine NOT seem to be hooked up to anything, yet I still have 3 fan speeds? Granted that the speeds are comparible to the following: A Light Fart, a Cold-Ai...

Dual Post: Steering Box U-Joint & Heater Core Mishap

It's been awhile since I've posted here, but I guess this is long past due for me. I'll start with the steering box, since the nice scary little post Byron posted about his steering box failure. With no load on the steering box as if parked, there is a little bit of play. I understand this is NORMAL...

Yes, this is true!!! And If I remember correctly, it was a certain Keith Law that used to give me the utmost of shit back in the day when I lurked the 'realm way-back-when. And after three or four years, finally putting a face to the name - and finding out that Keith was actually one of the nicest g...

Of course no hard feelings. Lol. Grudges suck. I was just merely stating. Learned from? Yes. Learned a lot, actually - enough not to come here as often as I did "back in the day" because people heedlessly kept their mouths going and their wrench not turning. While they bitched and moan, I ...

Ummm... so what if people push bids up. Don't think for half a second that other people haven't done it to you guys. I've done it, and had it done to me. Dog eat Dog world, doesn't mean you're gonna go to hell for it. It's all just money, right? Now, I don't come on the 'realm any more because of pe...

76 Z car troubleshooting... damn z's!!! Hehe... please read!

Sorry to make an offtopic post here on the 'realm, but I have a few technical questions as well as the need for a few pointers as to what could be gong wrong. We have a '76 Zcar, with a fresh L28. This engine used to have EFI but we have since then removed the EFI and everything computerized and tos...
