it was hard to get the lights installed, yours will be harder as you have nice paint. marking out the holes was easy ( just pushed the light into the paint and the studs marked were to drill). what was hard was making the cut then folding a 90 at the right spot so not to interfere with the mounting ...

all operations described above can be done by standing on your head under the dash....I bring a little pillow..... make it comfy I will also line the sharp openings in the door with some electrical tape.... dont cut the door. four things are required to open the door. 1. (if 68 ) the inside door handle must be up/neutral. I never noticed a difference but the mounts can get swapped to give a high bumper inline with markers or inches below marker.

I like to run the ground to the magic bolt hole on the head were the lifting hook should be. then a ground strap from the top starter bolt to the top steering idle arm bolt and a second small ground from neg to captured nut on passenger strut tower.
