Re: Headlight options (LED)
Sorry I thought I had replied to your question but must have forgotten to hit submit lol. I could not find any quality H1 LED bulbs so o went H4 in all positions Thanks! I had a feeling that might have been the case. I haven't stopped searching, but H1 doesn't seem as well represented as the other ...

Re: Headlight options (LED)
Thank you for posting this! I've been running Hella bulbs and lenses for years. I had been wanting to try LED in them but didn't want to blind anyone. Looks like this might work well! PLUS just got the same bulbs you posted for some weird quicky coupon on amazon plus some points I had for a pretty g...

Re: Looking to upgrade 510 distributor
That number is for an A-Series engine. Not sure if that will work. Maybe if you swap the mounting pedestal? I don't know. I'm sure someone else on here knows...

Re: Mainshaft Nut M27 RH
Unfortunately the part numbers Mike posted are NLA from Nissan USA. I ran all the to83 trans main shaft nuts, including the LH indicated ones and they are all NLA from Nissan USA. Maybe Nissan Canada is still good for them?

Re: Magnetic fuel door catch
I hate locking fuel doors because I always forget to grab the key and if someone wants to steal my gas, I don't want then bending the tinfoil that this car is made of to get the door open. I modified the fuel door and pocket to use a push-push mechanism to hold the fuel door closed. https://lh3.goo...

Re: Door latch re-rubber
When I was trying to get my doors to latch properly so I could check all the gaps, I realized that the little rubber 'cap' that is on the door side latch mechanism was all worn out and making the latch not properly rotate into the final lock position. When the thickness of the rubber is missing, th...

That would be great! Lemme know what you find. I wasn't planning on ordering anything for a couple more days at least anyway.

Re: Shorty header recommendation
My buddy put a short header on his goon. After installing it he came over and told me "it's making this terrible sound!" Nope that's just the noise a header makes. Most guys like that sound. He hated it. So funny. He wanted the stock manifold back. hahah!

Re: Shorty header recommendation
I like headers. I like the way they look. I realize a long tube header would be better but... I'm leaning heavily toward the TEP one.

Re: Shorty header recommendation
Not that you want to hear it. Lol. But I'm another vote for the stock , early , real 4 into 2 cast exhaust manifold. I do see headers from Indonesia or similar on Facebook all the time. Not sure if it's dpan or one of the 510 sites. I'll have a look Oh no, that's fine. I'm looking for opinions and ...
