Everything seemed normal. Tried again with no luck so pulled the line again and inspected the mating s...

Re: Finn's KA24DET
i never removed the valves before installing it. i get what you mean by the fact the 510 came with front disc so it shouldn't matter so i'm a little confused as well. when i get home i'm going to take them out and jack the front again and see if the bleed back fully releases the rotors. perhaps the ...

Re: Finn's KA24DET
oops  Master Cylinders have a Residual Check Valve which preloads the drum brakes with about 10 psi pressure. Only the portion of the M/C for the drums has a residual valve. This is sometimes called RLPV (residual line pressure valve), or RPCV (residual pressure check valve). Disk brakes must ...

Re: Finn's KA24DET
well I was hoping Julian was right and I just screwed up the pedal/push rod mounting but no dice :( I disconnected the push rod and jacked the front and the wheel still had some resistance. perhaps there's some springs missing off the calipers I'm not aware of... I need to do some research. just ven...

Re: Finn's KA24DET
awhile ago, before I left for Japan. I bought a new manifold after a night of too many beers and boredom. I finally got around to finishing it since getting back from this Philippines trip. the air flow is pretty significant. I had to shorten the exhaust down pipe since it mounts a little lower but ...
