At first look, I would thinkk you would at least need to take off the core support (whole front panel of the car) in order to allow that folded material a place to go while you are heating and or just hammering it out. Not a small or easy job, and if you are going to go that far, it might be easier...

yea.. i am afraid of that... the front end is (lights and girll) are off by a 1/2 inch cause of it
