Re: 72 Ultra Orange - Bucket List Restomod

No suggestions. If you remove the stock welds, it basically looks like there are holes already there for utilizing bolts to reattach it. Maybe they were factory alignment holes though. I am considering putting a fiberglass version on my race car and might consider weld nuts on the core support. Just...

Re: 72 Ultra Orange - Bucket List Restomod

For the attachment of the valance, did you use bolt/nut combo or install weld nuts on the core support?

Looking good. All your attention to detail in the preparation of the shell is really paying off.

Re: The Great Rolling Dyno engine rebuild

Maybe this was discussed earlier, but what are all the small impressions around the valve area? Will those be addressed in some way?

Re: ABS swap?

Donor vehicle intent? You will probably need to target something similar size and weight (difficult finding vehicle as light) since those systems are calibrated and tuned based on actual vehicle testing and performance, at least modern systems. Perhaps better to look at an older system not so sophis...

Do you have the lower grille molding? I recall you asking for the eyebrow parts a while back.

Would you be willing to get a shipping estimate to ZIP 48843? Or provide me a weight and dimension calculation?

Thanks.

Got it. Wisconsin has one of the better collector licensing rules, where you drive your car most of the year, not only for those special events like you mentioned.

I didn't think about using an out of state plate. Here in MI you have to use an MI plate.

Re: 72 2 Door 510 Restoration-25 years in the making

So can you drive around with an old California plate and no hassle? Is the registration up to date?

Also, I don't recall if you have mentioned what outside mirror you have installed.

WTB: Hood front edge molding

Hello- Preferably looking for a good to excellent condition front hood molding. If it needs polishing I can do that. If you have one with some dings or dents, I will consider also depending on price. Nothing twisted or bent too much as straightening one of these is a whole different story. Message m...

Re: Mission CACC Race #5

Mitsubishi made the Dodge Colt and Plymouth Champ (maybe different in Canada) for Chrysler as "Captive" imports in the 70's. This continued into the 90's I think. Mitsubishi used the Colt name on their own cars in Japan, but never in the US. The Mirage was the name for their version here.
