Re: Blue '71 Project
Consider using modern clamps on your fuel lines. Those older styled ones can be finicky and the newer ones are solid...I went with this style https://www.amazon.com/Swpeet-Assortment-Automotive-Agriculture-Construction/dp/B07HJ2X5LK/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1AKIFU4U8KBIL&keywords=fuel+line+clamp&qid=...

Re: Engine Bay (and other) Wiring Help?
Based on the wiring diagram, do I simply solder the white/red, & the white/black wires together and do the same with the white & yellow wires? That's how it appears to me but I'd like to make sure. That's what I did. No issues to date. The blue wire....I think I remember there is power goin...

Re: Dash The Automatic Express , 70 2 door auto
Those interior pieces came out great. Nice, nice, nice work!
I used paint pens for the faux chrome pieces as well. A few years in, and it's still holding up nicely. Used them on the radio bezel too, I think.
Interior stuff is fun.

Look into swapping out those old bulbs in the cluster with LED bulbs. I found some online that are great replacements and are a bit brighter than stock.
The wiring of the tach isn't bad. Just spending some time with a wiring diagram is a must.

Re: 72 2 Door 510 Restoration-25 years in the making
I love my internally regulated one. The trick is, which one to use? I can't remember which I opted for, but it's a bit bigger than stock. So, the clearance with the coolant outlet is sorta tight. Getting rid of 50+ year old external regulator feels good. What about electrical connections? Is there ...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
I really, really like what Apex Engineered put together for a replacement of front/rear suspension. I'm eagerly looking forward to some install photos and a review. Their front control arms look pretty identical to what T3 put together, which can be seen sitting on my table. Mimicry isn't anything n...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
This has been a collection over a number of years. A slowly-but-surely type of approach. Recognizing that most components on the table impact others in way or another, I didn't see the need to upgrade one at a time. The coilovers are an older set; I think T3 has changed their design over the years, ...

FS - 280zx calipers and parts
I picked these up a while back and have had them sitting on the shelf. I was going to restore them and install them, but other options presented themselves. So, hoping these can find a new home. I've got some POR caliper paint - Silver - that I can restore these with; the price would go up though. $...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
Did some inventory; found some parts for install, and also found some parts for sale (they are posted in the classified section). Everything on the table is for install. Felt intimidated, and anxious, that the install will take too long. Also got a welded r180 to be installed "while I'm there&q...

Right click on the image file, select "edit", there is a resize function where you can select the pixel count. Is that on Mac or Windows? Doesn't work for me on Windows in File Explorer... This is on windows. I just checked, and it must have changed when I upgraded to windows 11. Open wit...

If it's bare metal....I keep it bare metal! With clearcoat of course.
But hey...I think that's my signature thing these days, which means maybe I'm the only one that likes to do that.
