Re: Yokohama bringing back a classic

Just make sure that is going on a rim of minimum 7" wide. That is a taller tire also.

I found on a 510 that the 205 was a perfect size.

Re: Q35DE

My comment is the throttle " hang" also. Even with a SPRINT BOOSTER controller on mine, it still does goofy things, which from a true driver standpoint just sucks. I still stall this car at times leaving a stop on a slight grade! Maybe it can be made to work without all the electrics...but...

Re: Yokohama bringing back a classic

Having lived EVERY generation of the Yokohama street legal race tires, 001, 008, 032 and now the 048's, you would NOT be unhappy with them for beyond spirited driving, specially if the compound is updated a bit to match the 048/050 compound. Typical with Yokohama, IMHO, is they got the sidewall righ...

Re: WARNING about Hagerty insurance

https://globalnews.ca/news/3824014/massive-fire-in-langley-destroys-garage-with-40-antique-cars-inside/ What a tragedy this one is, a local fire burning up 40 classic cars, worth around 3 MILLION dollars. I will wonder if the insurance is through Hagerty's? I bet even they did not envision anything ...

Re: Bike rides

My digital camera is getting old now by today's standards and if it is anything but BRIGHT, it seems to mute things, oh well. Matt heading back up there on Saturday for a photo shoot with a fellow who was on the CDN Fly Fishing National Team. We will be curious to access now, as I sent the Parks Ope...

Re: Bike rides

Matt and I decided to head to another spot that I have not been back to for 50 years now, the end of the Skagit Valley at Ross Lake. In the 60’s they were logging their way down the valley, with a brutally rough logging road only taking us about half way to the lake then. We wanted to go check out t...

Re: Bike rides

Quiet day on the site..must be winter...at least in the Pacific Northwest.

This is what my brother contends with on occasion, living in a remoter area of Northern Vancouver Island. At least this time it did not throw the barbecue off the porch.

It was very funny actually, holding on for dear life, not wanting to break the fiberglass door edge, and when he leaned back in, he hit the kill switch a few times, shutting the motor off! Thanks for posting that up, there is a celebration for Collin tomorrow which will be fun. I will print those of...

Re: WARNING about Hagerty insurance

When I went for my valuation on my 510, I went through a local CDN company called PELLING Insurance, they are the CDN equivalent of Hagerty. I wanted to keep my money in Canada as the have the underwriting done by a large CDN company. I will note this thread and bring that up with them when I go to ...

Thanks for posting that up! I have forwarded the link to my English friend, who is laid up after a hernia operation. He is an incredible fabricator so enjoys this sort of stuff.
