Re: WTB: L20B Oil Pan & Pickup

77-79 200SX I believe had a front sump (L20B), and it's possibly that the A510 was also the same, as the first gens (with round headlights) came with L20B's as well. It'll be tough to find either car as very few were kept. It may be easier to find a KA oil pan as they were front sump, but it will ne...

Re: Rear discs with internal drum handbrake?

Thanks for posting Brads link to his project. Brads flicker account is still active and visable,many photos of his rear brake upgrade are right at the beginning of the photo series;

This is where I'd seen it documented.

Re: Rear discs with internal drum handbrake?

I'm sure I've seen a post where someone utilized a Z31 set up like this on a 510, but I can't find the thread which discusses the specifics.

If i find it....

Re: Adjustable Rear Spring Perch

The DP pn 234-1008 works well. It's a replica of what the original BRE cars used, and exactly the same design that's been in my 510 since 1971. At that price it's a pretty good buy. If you like your current spring rate, you may not even go to coil overs if you've got this set up. And if your auto cr...

There's a picture somewhere of my fathers rally 510 way up on 2 wheels when he put sticky tires on it at an auto X in Edmonton back in the 80's....

But it would be much fun!

I thought it was a really good article, that's so much guys for representing your 510 iron for this article.
A great way to celebrate 510 years of coming of age in a 510.

I'll have spray welding set up in my workshop by this fall.... just in case you were thinking of that method.

Re: 1972 1600SSS from New Zealand

I did fully weld around with a MIG on the Datsport installations that i did - it is best. You have to be clean with the welds though, you don't want spatter all over the place. It's good that you test fit a stock arm, and yes they don't like to be much out of alignment. This is what poly bushes don'...

Re: All Japanese Classic '17 - Vancouver BC Aug 27 - Pre Reg => 220 cars

Hi all - what a great show yesterday. We had roughly 40 more entries at the gate and with 220 pre registered. About 30 didn't make it so it about evened out as far as attendance goes. As for space, we still had plenty. A couple groups were really packed into their designated space, especially the no...

Re: 1972 1600SSS from New Zealand

With spherical bushes, you have some leeway to adjust the spacing. But I would also have that set up on hand before making the final welding. It's just a check. You could be perfectly fine and there may be no worry at all. But if your out by even 1mm, it's going to make life not good for fitment, an...

Re: All Japanese Classic '17 - Vancouver BC Aug 27 - Pre Reg => 220 cars

The dawn seems to be coming late. Headed out shortly to start set up in the park for the show. Weather report: Awesome followed by damn awesome! It's going to be a heck of a show again this year. Richard and I are looking forward to greeting those that are attending. We'll be at the main gate => 200...
