i like the flares, they just need some wheels that fill them out nicely, no 18's though. 15 or 16's would look good, just make sure that they are wide and have enough offset to fill out the flares, and then lower it some more, so you are just tucking a little. it would look sick. how much is the oth...

RE: ice house/door hinge repair

I've used the napa kit. Works well, I recall that it takes a little modification, but nothing hard at all. It is explained on datsuns.com. Defineatly tightens up the hinge though, took all of the slop out.

Just to make sure, check the timing. My car was having overheating problems and felt really flat at high revs. The mechanical advance on the distributor was stuck so the car was getting no advance. It would overheat at high rpm's but not in traffic. Fixing the advance fixed it. If the timing is reta...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: New spook...

where did you get the spook from. I've been looking for one but I have seen many that don't fit wery well. Mainly they seem to be warped and the pasenger side is higher than the drivers. So to everybody, who makes a good one with good fitment?

yeah, already got the 205's...and they fit! kinda...a little rubbing, but nothing a little more rolling and some hammer work didn't take care of. My car is also lower than yours, about a half inch, and I'm running 2.5 degrees of camber in the front. Suprisingly, it was the rear that I had the most f...

I agree with supersport, you need the oil cooler. I am getting the exact same combo this week (280zx struts, rewinds, rolled fenders) but I am going to use 205-50-15 tires. I was wondering how much room you had for wider tires? Would they maybe fit if the fenders were streached a bit?

well, I'm getting my 15x7 rewinds next week, and I'm using 205-50-15, so we'll see if they fit. I think they will, I've done some measuring and it looks like they will fit. I'm running 280zx front struts so the track is a little narrower than stock, so I think that will help them fit, I have my fing...

RE: TC poly bushing?

I drilled mine, didn't notice any difference form undrilled, just better peace of mind. I also rounded off the chassis side edges of the bushings more than they came from the energy suspension, this allows the tc rod to move up and down a little more freely.

VG30e swap, wiring, etc...

I am planning on doing a VG30e swap and had a few questions for those who have already done it. I am not to worried about the fab side of things but I was wondering how difficult the wiring is? I am not very experienced at working with wiring but I have a general understanding of how it all works. S...

I agree with datsunfreek, use a torch to burn them out. You have to get them pretty hot and its kinda messy, but it defineatly gets them out easy.
