The front bleeders are super funky, flat bottomed things.i can't figure out how they function. Sure in practice you do the same things, but..

crap. I hadn't tried the thread. I'll have to do that. another option is honing and rebuild, seems simple enough, never done it. Can that work reasonably well? Kits are ten bucks, plus I'd need a hone if it turned out the thread on the 510 one did work, I'd do both sides so they didn't vary in respo...

Hmmm. A brand new 510 wheel cylinder vs the leaky Roadster one.

After I get around to checking the valve lash, I may try that. I checked the line on the U20 in the roadster and I think it's the next step up in size.

Today went flying at 3 Corner Rock. An absolutely foul road. Lots and lots and lots of rocks. 14 miles of plain rocks, 3 miles of driving on what might as well be crushed up bricks and bowling balls. At one point during my drive I thought hmm, I have messed with the needles and maybe I'm just running them too lean. So on the next big climb I deployed my unique to SU's, on the fly manual enrichment device. Otherwise known as the choke. On standard carbs it cuts the airflow to richen the mixture. ...
