Re: The Great Rolling Dyno engine rebuild
That's so cool your rig is back on the road! I want to head over to Andy's shop with you one day!! Boost is the best! I just still can't imagine you back in the 70s putting your first turbo kit on. Dang that must have been nuts!!!

Re: S13 coupe drift car project
Some progress on my drift build. Order some parts on Black Friday "sales". got a clutch, OEM rod and main bearings and a few seals. Stock bearings have some wear. Before I bang it off the limiter all weekend I wanted to swap in new bearings. If you run OEM bearings they are graded. So I ha...

Re: Am I in over my head? '70 2 door from scratch
With your steering arm issue. Why not just swap struts side to side? Put the calipers on the rear instead of the front or visa versa? Did not think of trying that or know it was an option, but makes sense (I think). Not sure if that has any impact on anything??? The new arms are on their way so I'l...

Re: The Great Rolling Dyno engine rebuild
Keith, why don't you run carpet in your car? The difference with or without in my tan car was huge. I only pulled mine out because of the water ingress issues I was having. Seems like that would help the noise along with that foam you run. My Apple watch has a decibel meter on the face. If I look at...

How heavy are those super thick flywheels that come with these kits? Seems like it would be detrimental to performance and longevity with all of that weight hanging off the end of the crank. Super light. Aluminum and the back is all carved out. did you put it onto a scale? how many grams? No I just...

Is that adapter & flywheel your making? No. We spent a lot of time working to make an adapter kit for the 71C trans but there was no way to make an affordable option that would for sure be reliable in an endurance race car. If we swapped to a different transmission it would be possible but the ...

Updates on the K24 swap. We brought the goodie K24 over to my place so we can start putting all the figured out goodies on it. Get it ready to test fire. Of coarse the best rig ever hauled it. https://i.imgur.com/hXc9uyy.jpeg Look how clean the inside is!!! Outside looks like it's been in the ocean ...
