Looks like it was a rad show.. im kicking myself in the ass for not going... i thought it was gonna rain so i didnt go... are there any other shows going on around here anytime soon?

Im gonna try to get someone to watch my daughter if i get someone i will be there. Whats your buddys name whats he look like or what does his car look like so i can find him and buy the parts off of your buddy.. does he have a booth/area to sell stuff or is he just goin for the show?

I know reading up and learning all i can wont hurt at all.. but im just trying to eliminate everything i can ive heard everyones 2 cents about the carb and i was planning on doing that after i check the timing.. ive almost ruled out the carb since its cleaned new filter and fresh gas. Thanks for all the tip and starting points. I am mechanically inclined im not claiming to be a master tech but i do know how to turn a wrench..I know the car is old and im trying to find the reason why it hesitates (witch could most likely be a carb issue).. im not gonna completely tear down my moto...

Also.. shouldnt i see fuel comming out of the secondary? I hear the hissing/spitting vacume sound when the gas is applied (with the engine OFF) like mentioned by bert in his first reply.. how do i go about adjusting the float level? Bend it so it sits lower in the bowl??

From the looks of it, it looks to be an origional old distrib. With a new cap and rotor, and the timing is set right in the middle of retarded and advanced leaning just a hair towards retarded.. How would i go about checking if the accelerator is putting out between 3-3.5 like he said it should be set to? Also the odomiter only reads 136k and im not sure if its been rebuilt, replace or beet to crap by someone thinking it is a racecar
