Re: '71 4 Door - Mikuni'd KA24DE
Nothing to exciting to update yet... but decided to finally pull the trigger and give the 510 a bit more love. Ordered all the moog parts to refresh the steering linkage - New tie rods, ball joints, TC bushings and LCA bushings, delrin idler arm. Also order some shorter 6" springs with a helper...

Re: Swapping from a SR20DET to a L series engine question
The other thing to keep in mind is finding a good L series locally. They don't pop up very often...
Finding a clean KA can be just as hard nowadays ...
SR's while not cheap can be ordered pretty easily it seems.

Re: Dual 44mm Mikunis on a L20B question.
You should have no problem with either. Many people running dual sidedrafts - weber and mikunis- using the stock fuel pump. I ran a mechanical - dont think it was stock, but was never able to dig up any info on it - on my old L20b with hot cam and Mikuni 44s. My guess is electronic fuel pump might d...

Re: metal Subaru diff cover gasket on a Datsun R160?
Subaru and Datsun R160 housings and covers are exactly the same. Tolerances are tight enough in the actual machining of them actually that you can swap center units without needing to re-shim anything in most cases. Done this a few times swapping in LSD center units into newer Subaru housings for di...

Re: '71 4 Door - Mikuni'd KA24DE
Hey Devon so you know, the East Coast Meet at Summit Point Raceway in WV was moved to the weekend of August 8th. Never been there in Aug and imagine it'll be quite humid..... Ive got it book marked in my calendar. Waiting to see what happens with everything going on Covid wise.... but I have a tent...

Re: '71 4 Door - Mikuni'd KA24DE
Been checking in on the forums almost daily while stuck working from home-- no real complaints on that... although I do miss the car shows and gatherings... -- haven't update this thread much since Ive been more active on Ratsun recently. Been driving my 620 alot so the 510 has been a little neglect...

Re: KA24DE - 2000 Nissan Frontier
I believe he has a thread on Ratsun... somewhere, but I could be wrong... https://www.instagram.com/farmerjoe620/?hl=en Dig back a bit for the info. If you want to run a carbed KA that is the easy way... Or you can go the route Duke and I went with MegaJolt, but requires some real luck to find a sid...

Re: Which rear disc conversion for 13 in libras
I would check with EDP on if the 200sx and Maxima Calipers are interchangeable...
You can check AutoZone, Orielly, NAPA for calipers as well. You tend not to get as many options, but would still let you run those brackets.

Not sure about Libres... but I test fit some 13" Shelby "Minilites" yesterday over my EDP Maxima Caliper conversion... the only catch is I think the Maxima calipers are getting hard to find...

Re: '71 4 Door - Mikuni'd KA24DE
Been a while since I have updated this thread... So last August I picked up a 620 truck that has been taking up most my time for a while now--- brought it home with a KA in the bed and had to push it up on the trailer! Thanks Gravity! The truck is up and running now and got a few miles on it now. I ...

Re: Prothane transmission mount
Yea I think I have an additional 5mm washer in between... havent been under the car in a while. Maybe T3 updated their mount? I knew another guy running a t3 crossmember on a wagon with a KA and he need a 10-20mm spacer under the 280z trans mount for it to work. End of the day everyones set up is di...

Re: 620 KC project
Floor rot isn't uncommon, I'm going to have to do some lower body rebuilding once I get to that stage. The rockers were pretty much rotted through and I did see some re-pops listed on Ebay long ago but I didn't buy then, guess I should have. Pretty much anything mechanical is easy enough to find th...

Thanks for the info. Were you using the same part number mounts? Actually looking back mine was energy suspension... but I believe they are the same part... Ill do some more digging for some photos but here is a quick excerpt from my build thread on the two mounts Let me take a step back here and s...
