Car goes into Andy's later in the spring to have it put on and couple of other things. With my shoulder blown out I cannot fight with the exhaust to get it apart to droop the cross member,

Not a 510. But i got a 620 in August that ive done alot to. First vehicle ive gotten to build in 10 years since getting hurt. Since i cant do anything to Arts 510, and purple is how i love her from my childhood. It was nice to do this. Just wanted to share, but didnt want to make a entire thread about the truck.

Damn, those wheels look way bigger on your truck than they do on my Armada!

That size difference of the body makes them look bigger. 620 looks small against your armada i bet ;)

Thanks

Futofab sells the belly pans if you need one. But if you have an SR in your 510 then you be cutting. There are certainly i'm sure better options but well, I was bored and we were having a heat wave of 38-40 degs so I got busy.

It’s funny how few of these pans are still left on 510’s! If the pan survived the first oil change, it usually was removed when the sway bar was replaced for the performance oreintated driver. The clip the slid under the sway bar mount the held the captive nut which secured the back side of the pan usually didn’t get reinstalled.

Ive been told by many that the installation of the pan does significantly help cooling. But I think most have upgraded to more efficient rads today, with aluminum rads being so common place now.

Nice project just the same Lou, thanks for sharing. Looked like at least a 2 beer job :-)
