I stared in admiration of such wonderful piece of engineering!! Just recently purchased some new chokes, main jets, emulsion tubes, air correctors, and idle jets to run dual 40DCOE webers on my car. And recently put hotter NGK plugs, Accel high output ignition coil, Standard cap and rotor, and Accel 8mm high performance cables. Its funny how they dont really make anything for these engines so i had to buy a V8 kit and now i have 4 spare cables in case one goes bad!!

Not a dam thing but stare at the rear camber/toe adjusters and Rear Control Arm Spherical Bearing Bushing Kit I got from FutoFab. Futofab is taking all my dam monies!!!!!! Still need stub axles from them for the Subie R180 I have.

Removed the tie rods and steering arms if thats what they are called? Had one hell of a time removing the center link from the steering box. Jacked up the threads in the process. Don't ask lol Now to drill those parts out to 5/8 so I can mount Troys tie rod set up.

Replaced the fuel level sender in the tank with one for a 240Z. Did all the mods to make it work, shortened the float rod length, bent a new 90 deg on it then replaced the float and washer and dove tailed the end to keep it all together and it works great. Tank was ran dry before this fix and after the fix I placed two gallons of fuel to see where the needle sits, and it sits right on the empty line, no more no less. This mod is here soemwhere as I remember reading it a few years ago and at Summit Point 3 year back I purchased a fuel level sender from one of the guys who's a Nissan distric parts manager in I think it was Tennessee $40 8>)

Lights look great! Very similar color combination to mine. Just replace the clear market lights on the side IMHO

Care to share how it was incorrect? I'll be doing the same job in a few months, also using Baz's stuff, and would be glad for any tips you'd be willing to pass along.

Here's the round corners of the trunk. As you can see Im using my had to hold it in position.

Got this from Baz today. Update: 3/15

Where seals go around curves it stretches the rubber & causes the lip to stand upwards.
This will cause the trunk to lift up in the two top corners.
By compressing the seal, ie. By pushing the seal into the corners & compressing the seal this will then cause the lip to lay flat.

When the seal is located in the groove along the top edge close to the glass and laying flat, it can be secured with a drop of loctite401.
Just before the curve commences.
Work the seal around the corner compressing it as you go ensuring it lays flat.
You will need to work the seal on the fender side so the seal has some slack.
Once around the curve secure with 401, just dots.

The top corners are the most important.
