The 510 Realm

Reflected upon the stress of being scammed by a local mechanic while looking through some info regarding my engine rebuild. Ughh....I hate that guy. Anyways, at least I got a decent engine with some decent numbers out of it. Dyno attached.

Not today, last Saturday. I used a Mazda RX-4 to tow my Bluebird out of the garage for some Autumnal sunshine while I bolted some more parts onto it to get it ready to ship to the exhaust builders shop.
Couldn't find where Mercedes Benz hide the towing eye in my C Class Coupe so had to use the RX-4. Considering it hadn't been started in over a year or driven in almost 2, after a few checks, it only took about 15 seconds of cranking for it to brap into life (12a bridge port)
It pulled the Bluebird, with flat tyres and stuck on breaks out the garage with ease.

That RX-4 is so cool!

I had a 4dr one back in the 90's, mine was a 13B - dead stock right down to the reactor still bolted to the side of it... much fun!

I don;t honestly think I have seen one in person in over 20 years here in Vancouver. I have seen 1 R100, a couple RX2 and RX3's, but no RX4 at all. The last one I saw was coming north from a Shasta event in 2000, a beater on the I-5.

Took my 510 goon to wrk today after fixing a burnt circuit on my ecu. I have a rotary too.. rx3 goon. Getting ready to pull the 12a twin dizzy. Too hard to locate parts for it. Going to swap in a later 12a or 13b.

Dope 'goons! My buddy and I used to rat race and '4x4' our wagons BITD - he had RX3 (in the family since new) and my 510, of course......

Does your buddy still have the rx3? That'll be cool if he did!
I'm hoping to have my rx3 running by summer. I love driving the 510 goon and carving up the mountains where I live! Can wait to do the same in the rx3...

Maybe like all in the UK they've rusted away? This one is an import from New Zealand, it's been hear about 10 years now and needs a lot of work, its a polished turd

No it's long gone. Finally corked the motor and he scrapped it.
