Something not right with that BaT car ...... Weber carbs instead of Mikuni, blue air cleaner, spray bombed undercarriage and suspension... hmmm....

Check out this rad JDM car sales site 510Rob turned me onto:

I don't know anything technical about these old Skylines, but is a 1971 GTR supposed to have rear disc brakes, or is that a resto-mod?

'MY' car has drums. Its a little too early to be sticking discs on the back of that stuff me thinks....

Like most people, I too absolutely love these Skylines. But in all honesty, I'd want to drive mine, and I don;t think I'd want an S20 one due to the lack of available motor parts. I like Jame's pick, 3/1L L motor with tripple carbs - yep that would make me plenty happy to drive :-) I do prefer the grey colour, though. But I would not be picky at any rate.

A very, very sweet car in my opinion-- even though the chassis / suspension haven't really been touched. Even so, it sold for $16K. Sweet price too!

There NEVER was a factory 69 4x4. So that's smoke, period.

There were some "factory" modified 620's, but arguably they were not factory as well. They were dealer made in small numbers, with an assembly plant on Annacis Island (Vancouver) and another I believe in Portland between 77-79. Icehouse had one of these trucks, and I saw one in person in Abbotsford - they are pretty rare to find.

It would be interesting to know what this truck is. The shadow on the front wheel is covering up the bolt pattern - that would be the first clue. Be interesting to talk to the guy. But for sure, it's not factory.
