Very nice - and a 610/710 (???) coupe at the end, nice to see that as well. I'll bet they all looked better on the track!

I'm pretty sure the 610(710?-can't remember now) is Carolla's- Check out his podcast called CarCast. He will do a feature on it soon, I'm sure, although I remember him mentioning that his weekend at Coronado this year was somewhat of a bust. Issues with getting strapped in before the marshall had to hurry the field out onto the course, starting from the back, etc... Cool car, and he's using it for real.

Yeah, that's Adam's 72 610 - prepped by Bob Sharp as the backup car for the 72 BS championship. It was not actually run in the championship afaik.

At Coronado, Adam did have some sort of problem getting on track in time, so I think he started DFL. He made up a lot of ground though.

It was pretty cool seeing such a big field of Datsuns turn out this year.

Carolla featured his race there today on his Carcast podcast, and explains the whole thing. Motorator.com has the video, and he equips his car with 3 cameras and a new mic location to really let you hear the engine and carbs. Credit to him for really wringing that 610 out. Also stated he has found the 2nd BRE roadster (he has the first, and Les has already restored it to its original state), so he will own the first 2 ever produced BRE race cars. Good on him.

300ZX- he said that thing is scary- Full tube frame, serious race car. Its in work as well. I think he said something about 6-700hp. Woof.
