Today I picked up a few new models.....the 240Z CP in bare metal, and a cool toyota 4x4. I think it's an 85 or 87, cant remember and dont want to move my ass off the couch right now to check!! but I'll try to take some pics later.

I'll save you a minute. Hopefully you're not here to post you pic :) ( not trying to be an arse )

Here are some that I modified... Well, the ones that I didn't give up on. I've opened probably 10 of the blue 510s that either got lost, chopped, or just gave up on.

Image

Z I painted with leftover lexan RC paint. Actually came out very nice. Swapped for some nicer wheels too. I really like it. The white wheels contrast well with black.

Image

This 510 I started about three years ago. Primed it and painted it yellow to match my dads car, came out bad, and then I don't know what happened, but this is how it sits. It's a one of a kind :D

Image

This one I used rubbing alcohol to rub off the decals. Swapped the wheels with an AE86, and painted the chassis black ( before the newer ones with black chassis came out. ) Still a nice piece.

Since I have two wagons, and one I've opened, I'm debating on modding the open one, but I wouldn't know what to do to it since it has already got the rubber tires and such. Maybe I'll do some detailing. I dunno... :?:

Bare metal? Is it an error? Loose and stripped? I'm curious. Post a pic please when you get a moment.

On my Hot Wheels hunting adventure today, I found a few I've been looking for... I also found this... Too bad I couldn't put it in a bag too and take it home. The owner was an older guy, old enough to be original owner, but is the 2nd. Of course there's little dents and nicks here and there, but other than that, nice car!

Nice!! great looking 240! There was a local car show here this weekend and the only Datsun was a 240z, the original owner was there showing it, very nice car, white, with the black stripe at the bottom like that one. it was for sale for $12,500 I think....pretty nice too. of coarse I didn't think to take a pic.

But I do have this one of the new 240z.....

Here's the better pics of all the cars, well, there's still more that need to be added but I have to make room for another case and that means re-arranging half the garage, moving tools and wall hangers....too much trouble for tonight.

I neeeeeeeed one of those Zs. I think it takes. Few weeks for the stuff in your area to get to me.

That Sugar Daddy Wagon slot car is interesting. The real Sugar Daddy sedan AFX is HUGE to collectors. They've gone for more than $1200. Insane. They were a special promotional type thing that if you sent in your wrappers, they'd send you it for free. Since not very many people knew of it at the time, there are very few around now.

You've got a badass collection. I'm jealous. I need some of the older Nissans from a few years back. I remember seeing them when they were on the racks, but I never got them because that's not what I was into. I look back now and slap myself for not getting them. I sometimes get them from a friend that's a Hot Wheels collector, but not very often. I'm glad to have what I've gotten from him.

It's funny, both Targets in my area had older cars from 2009 and 2012. I thought with the one they had an older box hiding somewhere, but it was both. Very strange. I got some cars I've been wanting from 2012, so I'm happy.

Yea, that Sugar Daddy car is really expensive when you can find one. I always wanted one and thought about selling a few of my least liked slots to raise the money to get one...I think thats the only one I'm missing. The last few Ive seen on Ebay have been damaged so I passed....then kinda lost interest.

Went to a friends house today, who has a few cases and bins of in the package Hot Wheels. Some newer, most from the '90s. He gave me a deal since he's working on getting rid of them.

Here's the Japanese imports I got

Damn!! those are some nice oldies....I like them too! I went to a guys house last night to look at a car, he had over 75,000 dicast cars, mostly hotwheels....most were crated up and you couldn't see them, but they were there.....I was amazed someone could have that many.

Because I have nothing else to do.

Both batteries for both drills were dead, and I didn't have the patience to disassemble it before hand, so I just started hacking. Slipped a few times so there's some defects, but it's a toy, not going to be perfect.

2014 A-case Hot Wheels are here! Didn't find what I know is in there and what I want, but they're here. I'll have a stockpile of 620s once they're more available.

Was able to get a Zamac Z too.

Also took a few loose cars just for the wheels and did some swaps. I have two more sets but axles weren't wide enough for the 510 chassis.

few more. The quality is excellent and in looking on the web, some of these things are gaining value.
