CANADA ONLY..ya right......

I never saw one of these here, and got mine through a U.S. Toy store I stumbled on. Same with the 510 Wagon.

The toy car collectors here are nuts.

I had a Toys R Us store near my last office, so would drop in from time to time to check for interesting HW cars.
They'd always have 8-12 guys waiting at the door at store opening time the days after the new HWs would arrive.
All would rush back to the HW aisle at once to decimate the newly-hung stock.
I'm sure some even paid employees to set some aside for them too, so they never made it on the shelf.
Kmart was the same way. The grocery store was a much lower-key place to find them.

I have many model 510s in my stash (Nostalgic Hero, Revell, Muscle Machines, HW in white, yellow, copper, black, blue, red, silver, HW Vintage, Various Ebbro, Choro-Q, TrueScale, Maisto 55s (all colors incl BRE 620 PU), DUB-City 5-Deep Nissan/Datsun set...but never did find the HW wagon version.

If anyone has an extra, unopened HW wagon to sell, let me know via PM.
Thanks in advance.

I see ebay has about 30 of the limited edition BRE cars listed... Frickin pisses me off that we all have 510's and if we want to add this to our collection we have to pay through the nose for one.

Exactly Terry!!! It's like EBay searching for a particular part for your 510, you find it and they want an arm and one of your kids.

Here is my ebay purchase... $75.00 shipped. Who else has been insane enough to pay through the nose for one of these?

I have been watching them. I want one but they seem to be going for $60-$75. I can't see spending that much for one. I might have to bite the bullet and get one anyway.

I got my TSM one for less than 65.00, which is a WAY better representation of the BRE car, which is really all I wanted. I think the TSM ones sell for around 80.00.

yea, there's also a new 2000gt in yellow, and if you are really lucky you can find the secret treasure hunt 2000gt in burgandy with the rubber tires. I can take a pic in a little while. I also found the Blue truck at K-mart the other day, they only had one. Our local K-mart is closing, so they were 20% off, then I found the Blue bug at Walmart today, which is really strange because I think that one is a 2008 release. It was extrememly dusty so maybe it was under a shelf or hidden somewhere for a long time.

 Yea, my wife laughs at me too......but it's so cheap that I think she is all for that hobby!! I usually get one every once in a while, only if there are some cool ones. They are on sale at Wally World right now for .87 too I think. Fred Meyer is the cheapest, sometimes they have them for buy one get one. just have to be there at the right time.

Picked up the Celica in yellow last week, and the day before yesterday an E30 M3 in red.

Still haven't seen the 620, seems to be as elusive as the wagon....

OK, not a Hot Wheels deal, but Toyota 2000GT related.

Late 70's a bunch of us head out of New England on a non-stop road trip to Road Atlanta in a Dodge van hauling a '59 Lotus 19 with a Buick 304ci V8, but that isn't the real story.

The real story is that we are within an hour of the track, a day early and we find a campground to crash at after 25 hours straight of driving.

We settle into the campground and meet up with a guy and his son camping there, also headed to Road Atlanta for the races, driving a 2000GT. which is the real story here.
