Cool! I still haven't found any wagons, I think they will be up here soon, I finally saw a 2012 series so it might make it here. If not maybe I could pry one of those out of Keith's hands.

I was in Walmart this morning, picking up an LED light for my Boler, when on a whim I wandered over to the toys. I scored one of the white 240Z cars!

Word on the street is there's going to be a 620 Hot Wheels next year.

EDIT:

I'm stoked. I need more Datsun/Nissan stuff for my display case.

I happened to stumble upon a great haul today at a Price Smart.
3 M3 -Silver
2 240Z -White CP
2 Toyota 2000 -red w black
2 AE86 - white/black
1 FB RX7 - blue/orange race car
1 R34

I've never found a wagon, or a Z until today. Haven't seen a 510 in quite a while either.
I can't wait for the 620! It looks great!

Nice score! I also did see an AE86 and a BMW 2002, maybe I should pick those up and one day we can all have a "trading" day.

shack, that's a nice looking collection you have there! That's about how mine started and I quickly outgrew the display case and had to get a bigger wall hanger to hold them all, it's a terrible addiction for sure!! Just when you have them all fit in there they release another one!!

It's amazing, when someone comes over and goes in the garage, that's the first thing they look at, all the cars on the wall.....it's like nothing else matters!!

Thank you! Would you mind posting a pic of your collection?

That's all my Nissan/Datsun stuff in there. I have more that I forgot to add before I took that photo. I have a lot of Subaru, BMW, Toyota, Japanese Hot Wheels that I was going to put in there, but wouldn't fit. I'll hang them all on the wall above the case soon enough.

sure, I'll take some pics when I get home. I bought these display cases off Ebay, they are pretty nice for the price. I'll try to find the link. They are made in China I think, but they have the UV protected acrylic plastic instead of glass, they are holding up pretty well so far. I too still have a bunch of misc cars to add, some datsun/Nissan too. I have a lot of slot cars too, got way too many when I was in japan!!....and those damn Choro Q's.....but I love them all!

Here's an old one from my phone.... I'll take some better ones when I get home.
...my garage don't look that clean anymore!! I have since brought home more junk!!

The case to the right doesn't have any shelves, you can just thumb tack the hotweels to the felt back board. It holds quite a few if you layer them in there.

After seeing Rich's, I made a cabinet to hold my small collection in the new hanger. Made it from recycled red oak and stained with chestnut. Did the shelves at different spacing to accommodate the different sizes.

I want EVERYTHING in that large cabinet. People at local swapmeets want $20+ for those little Ebbro and ChoroQ models. Rediciulous.

Damn Monte! that's a bitchin' cabinet....that's an easy sell right there, put me down for three or four of them!! very nice work, but we expect nothing less from your shop. I love the sliding glass too....really easy to open and position the cars.

@shack: My close friend in Japan, Sugata-san gave me most of those. There are some really rare and limited edition cars in there, most all of them are datsun/nissan, from the skyline hako to the sunny trucks, kinda hard to tell what most are until you really look at them closely.

A little off topic, but what's the story with the 510 in the lower right hand corner? Are you building another 510? You do great work is there a build thread I've missed by chance? For some reason the picture didn't follow with the quote button :)

Thanks, are those boxes in your cabinet for the models on display or other new ones? I might make one of those cabinets with no shelves for the model spares that are still in the package. So you just thump tack them to the back panel?

73Dime, thats my wagon project that has been sitting for some time....it's covered somewhere in my build thread.

Monte, the cars are out of the boxes, I just put the boxes in there because so I don't lose them and some of them have cool pictures on them.
