Like the hot rod MBZs eh? Don't blame you, that S600 (and the 6.3) is a machine. Welcome, and PLEASE beat that Corvette! LOL

Hey uieluck welcome to the North East. I'm up in Southern NH in Danville and originally from Whittier Cali. Moved here in `89 because it's clean, quiet, 4 seasons, no traffic, somewhat inexpensive and a great place to raise kids. Yeah MA sucks, I'd assume move back to Cali than live in Ma, no offence to all those from Ma.
Vehicles: `69 510
Truck, SUV and Jeep.
Interest: Racquetball, bass and guitar playing, working at the Nuke Plant, my 510 and grand kids. Don't want to bore you with all I like, Oh and Mini Breweries 8>) OHH Rah!!!

Springfield, Longmeadow maybe? My wife's family is from there. And yes, it's either a humid, or cold ass pit. Northampton is sort of cool in a quaint New England kind of way. I'm sure if you had a 510 there, it would be a LOT better.
BTW, I was a studio product photographer in San Francisco for 15 years. The commercial art field is one tough racket these days.

I am retired after 34 years with DOI, Have had an interest in Datsun cars since mid 1970's. Have owned four 240 Z's (still have one that I autocross) and a couple of years ago, re-built an ITC Datsun 510 race car from the ground up. The car has a six point roll cage with NASCAR door bars. The engine is a slightly modified and balanced L16 enginewindage tray, electric fans, remote oil cooler with MSD and Petronix ignition upgrades, and push button start Interior contains a kill swith, Kirkey seat, accusump, fire supression systemThe suspension consists of coil overs on the front with Koni racing shocks all around, and ATL fuel cell. Sway bars are attached with heim joints. The wheels are a mixture of 13" and 14" Panasports, huricanne, five spoke and eight spoke wheels. We are currenlt running hoosier R7 205/60's in the rear and 185/60's in the front and semi raintires. Have had rubbing issues with 205's in the front. We race at Daytona, Sebring, Palm Beach International Raceway and Homestead-Miami Raceway. The car is still being developed as we race.
