something that I was going to work on was a short throw shifter. but after looking around on the internet and seeing that you can buy lots of different styles already, I don't see much point, also they are selling them so cheap that I could never compete.

But here is what I was messing around with, I guess I will just make one for myself.

I dunno, taking the slop out of worn plastic parts (top/bottom ball socket cups) of that assembly might be a good measure in any case. Have you run this/experience with resulting increased vibration?

That shifter is sweet looking! What are all the holes for though? I want one!

thanks Icehouse, the holes are just for a look... no they make for faster shifts... yah that's it. :P I'm still working on the shifter I'm not happy with it just yet, but its coming. I have had a lot of other things on the go.

I have just finished of some thrust bearings that my camber plate set up needs to work properly. the bearings are 40.00 plus the adapters are 100.00 for the set, but I know that this setup works really well, I have been running them on Byron's and my car for a couple of years.

here are the thrust bearings and adapters that need to be used with my camber plates. the bearings cost 40.00 and the adapters are a 100.00 so the camber plates and thrust bearings cost 490.00 plus shipping hope this makes sense, the spring needs these or they will want to bind.

I am also working on a set of struts for a friend. He is going to run my camber plates and is having me just put the whole thing together for him
so it is basically just a one day swap for him.

Here are a couple of pictures of my camber plates installed on a friends car, as well as a picture showing the spacer ring that can be used if you don't want to do any cutting.

I have also been working on a stand that I can use to display some of my work. It is also able to hook onto my tire when I am at a car show. It is made to fold down flat, and can be adjusted to any angle and then locked into place.

That's pretty cool. I have always wanted to make something to hold everything, but I, in no way, have your skills or a mill to do it on. So, until those days come, I'll have to settle for the plastic hobby box!! Nice work!!
