Thanks sleepy14, but I just welded it all together. My Buddy Tony Rischar made it beautiful by cleaning up my mess & painting it!

Nice job Rick. The shot down the side of the car exemplifies the nice flow of the body lines.
Great work.
Are you a sheet metal guy or did you just give it a go?
Either way it's beautifully executed.
I especially like the front flares. It's like classic 80's box flares meets Alfa Romeo curves, very tastefully.

Thanks Bryon. I am a heating & air contractor, but I sub out most of the sheet metal work. I just went for it! The body was in such poor condition that it wasn't that scary to start cutting it up. It would be hard to start with a clean car & chop it up

Great work, and an inspiring idea. Do you have a build thread with more photos somewhere?
I'm wondering why you left the original quarter in place when you were attaching the new outer quarter over top of it? Did you leave a way for water to escape from between the two, and didn't it add quite a bit of weight. The final look is great and very subtle, similar to what I've been thinking about trying. Do you have a head-on photo with the bumper on, I'd like to see what it looks like with the front tire visible behind the edge of the bumper, probably menacing. 245's all around? Very cool, and the Alfa GTV connection is strong Byron. I'll be thinking about this all day.

With Dave at Futofab working on reproduction quarters, man I'm really liking this flare idea.

Rick, if you're still around the site, your car is one of a kind and beautiful.
