So after many months of looking for an L16 oil pan if found one.....so I thought I did, crap I even pulled it out of that 1600!!!, well I was dropping the motor onto my dime today and noticed the damn pan was not allowing the motor to slide into its resting spot, kept making contact with the steering arm
I lifted it back up, stared at it in disbelief..., dug up my L20b pan....yes a match...now I'm fuming
So I grabbed the pan that came with the motor I got from Julian and compared the back section and its obvious someone put swapped out that L16 pan for an L20b pan, so..., pack to drawing board, I guess I can clean up Julian's old pan for L20bt and block the oil fitting he made
What a day, I wish I would have caught it earlier LOL.
Here's a pic of that pan on my motor, enjoy my goof up!

Because when you spend a silly amount of money on a silly, trivial thing that will help you not one jot, you are demonstrating that you have a soul and a heart and that you are the sort of person who has no time for Which? magazine. – Jeremy Clarkson
