Damn, well fit tubes are sexy!
Were you involved with the fitting? Time consuming isn't it?
Beautiful work! Doesn't it just make you want to clear coat it the way it is?

I'm having this shop build the whole thing https://www.facebook.com/UnderPressureR ... t/?fref=ts

Since I'm traveling so much for work I decided to let someone else handle it. I'm going to focus my time/energy on finishing the sheetmetal and getting road ready :)

I'm hoping I can get it dyno tuned in the next two weeks. I ordered a complete rubber kit from Datsport and should have it next week. Should be tearing up the streets next month ;)

Here's a little update... Car is moving along.

Had to redo the front fenders. Most of the metal work is done.

Looks great in grained metal!
Flares are slick, good job.

Thanks Guys. I was hoping to make it to Canby but decided to finish the car instead. It deserves to be shown complete and honestly I don't want to tear it down again..

I'm changing the color so will need to reshoot the engine bay this winter. Plan is pull the motor and put in forged pistons, freshen the head and bomb proof head gasket while shooting the bay and probably a new trunk lid since mine is kinda trash.

The color will be my own mix called "Burgurple"... I'll leave it at that... The car won't blend in with the crowd, I can tell you that. It deserves to stand out ;)

the hard line on the edge of those flairs works great with the rest of the lines on the car. flows better than the rolled lip found on most 510s

For sure. The flares worked out perfect. I'm super happy with them.

car is looking awesome. You must be excited to see the end relatively in sight. Your perseverance gives me hope that mine will eventually get there. Congrats
and yes, those metal flares are the bomb. Excellent work
