Took the car on a run yesterday to Mable Lake (south end) to the provincial campground which is 37Km from Lumby. I would HIGHLY recommend this drive as it is not a busy road and there is a 5-7Km portion of the road that has some really tight turns and my car preformed flawlessly. I probably drove the same section at least 8 times, car seemed to like when I just gently apply the brakes to settle it coming into the corner then accelerating through and out of the corner.
This is a cool dam that was built in the late 40s early 50s by BC Hydro
The south end has a gas dock/store that I stopped at this is close to the boat launch and next to the Provincial campground.
My new favorite sign, there were a number of these along the road most had a suggested speed limit... of course I promptly followed the posted speed
