Just wanted to update everyone that was interested. The vents are now for sale. Intro pricing $400 machined finish (straight out of the machine) no polishing. Parts look great, some minor irregularities in the surfacing from using a scan model but not noticable once on a car. Includes gasket and mounting hardware, you reuse your 70-73 baffle duct.

Wow those look great. Can I ask you what did you use for the gasket?

EPDM rubber tubing from mcmaster carr. Mine are designed for the 6mm diameter, not sure what diameter might be best on stock vents.

Sorry, no interest in making any from stainless. Machining stainless is a whole different game than the aluminum.

Billet would be hard to keep clean. 510s never had anything billet..wouldn't the stainless vents match all the rest of the trim on the car??

Not billet isnt really that hard to keep clean. Aluminum can also be polished and chromed to match the trim.

Stainless is a whole different animal. Machine times would greatly increase. The weight is substantially more than alloy too.

Excellent product. look up billet aluminum sealer to protect the vents. The hot rod guys use it on rims etc.
