I added a aftermarket tach to my dash and I found a solution to fill in the dash without having to cut up a factory dummy light cup.
I wanted to fill in between the tach and the dash
I bought this funnel from walmart for just under $3.00
After some careful trimming
Check fit
A few coats of SEM trim black
Looks good for $3
Just wanted to pass this along, no need to cut up the dummy light cup.

I love stuff like this. Human ingenuity at it's best! This is a testament to the complexity of your visual detection and visual integration and abstract reasoning. I'm enjoying this post waaaaay too much, but it is super cool.

That. Is. Just. Cool.
Now if there even a remote prayer that Walmart Canada has that funnel....

Good point zKars
obrut, can you look at your receipt and find the product code for the funnel? Or post a UPC code for it?

Re: Aftermarket tach surround idea
It is made by flotool and the part number 10718, looks like oreily's and homedepot sell them too. I brought the dummy light cup to the store and just looked for funnels that matched.
