Awww the illusion of speed. I've learned at the autox that when guys ask for a ride I gotta make sure and slide extra! Otherwise they don't understand how I'm killing it out there. It feels slow if I don't slide it a bit.

Your build was one of my favorite to follow. Your vision for your 510 shared similarities with the vision I have for mine and I placed great value in seeing how your build progressed. Take comfort in knowing your 510, regardless of the selling price on BAT, was a great one. Perhaps another 510 is in the cards for you at some point in time. I would ask, if you have the time, to update your project build one last time with last thoughts, suggestions, outcomes, product reviews, advice...for posterity sake.

It's closer to 250 than I'd have thought an l4 would do on a streetable engine.
This is the dyno sheet from the bat listing in the opening post.

Done a lot of dyno testing in the past.
That test print out looks to be pretty legit. It’s a Depac data acquisition, which has been one of the best and most accurate systems.
When the test sheets smell funny you see high correction factors and inertia factors to enhance the numbers read out.
It’s a little bit of a fast pull but the Depac system is still accurate under those circumstances due to the way it samples the data. Probably a hand controlled load valve on the dyno as opposed to a digitally controlled valve which you program in the rate of rpm climb per second.
Never been to Rebollo’s shop to see their dyno. Pretty sure it’s an engine dyno not a chassis dyno. So if you allow for drivetrain losses the numbers aren’t outrageous.
Just sayin, the data sheet appears legit.

I talked to the dude in Austriala who moved the L series intake valve on the L series to fit bigger valves in his rally 510 and smoked all the old school guys who thought they maxed out the L series power. He messed with the L series for years before switching to the SR20VE P12 engine. He said the first thing he did was flow the SR head and he was super disappointed at the flow numbers. He dynoed the engine next and was amazed with the power it made with the flow numbers. It's easy to tell that dyno chart is wack. 2.4L = 146 cubic inches. seems like a bit of extra torque for such a small displacement engine with short runners..... Just saying. A turbo is the only way to make an L series tolerable. I just feel bad for the dude who buys it and takes if for a spin expecting it to stash out.
